On Monday, August 4, 2008 WMBD-TV's Lisa Miller did a story about the United Way funded residential services at PARC focusing on Howard who is 79 and has lived in a PARC group home since 1972 with other individuals who have developmental disabilities.

Sunday, January 27, 2008 - The PARC (People Advocating for Respect and Consideration) Pirates compete in the Special Olympics Illinois basketball tournament.  The team will not advance to the state basketball competition but they had fun, and that's what really matters.
